Signature Programs for Residents and Staff
This very popular program is specifically designed for residents of varying cognitive and physical ability by Dr. Chuck McGlade, owner of Ridgeline, and Patricia Endres, a Ridgeline Recreational Therapist. The fitness program improves core strength, resulting in better balance and fewer falls. We work with physical therapists and primary care physicians to report progress and improved functional fitness.
Ridgeline Management Company’s signature program, “Moments” is developed to meet the needs of each of our residents through all stages of dementia. The program will attempt to maintain a safe, secure, and predictable environment that fosters a sense of independence and well-being. It will improve residents’ self-esteem through meaningful activities designed around each person’s interests, talents, and abilities.
At Ridgeline, we train our caregivers within to educate them in all stages of dementia (early, middle, and late). Not only will we teach our caregivers how to take care of the residents but also themselves. Because let’s face it, caring for others is hard work.
Our Memory Care Neighborhood is a place for our residents to receive the support and assistance they need, while feeling as much “at home” as possible. The goal of “Moments” program is to design an environment for our residents living with dementia to maximize awareness and orientation. We are here to help retain abilities and maintain their independence as long as possible. It is designed to fulfill Ridgeline’s mission: creating an environment where moments of joy, independence, and wellness provided each and every day.
Marvelous Meals is a Ridgeline signature program, utilizing scratch cooking techniques, fresh local produce and incorporating resident favorites. The overriding goals of this approach are to cater to the requests of residents to achieve maximum satisfaction, to craft nutritiously rich and healthy meals created within budgetary guidelines, while maintaining sanitary food preparation practices.
Ridgeline recognizes those Administrators and property team members annually who excel in areas such as property occupancy, financial stability, environments that best reflect the mission statement and over-all best property performance. Awards such as the 100% Club, Administrator of the Year, and the J.I.W. of the Year are presented at Ridgeline’s annual dinner to showcase and honor Ridgeline’s best of the best employees.
J.I.W. (JOY, INDEPENDENCE AND WELLNESS)
Our team members are empowered to promote teamwork and a spirit of celebration through the J.I.W. team. The team honors and respects one another through a positive and productive work environment committed to the mission of joy, independence, and wellness.
KOEPP ATTENDANCE AWARD
The Koepp attendance award was inspired by a Ridgetip from Marilyn Koepp who had worked 11 years without missing a day of work, always worked her schedule, was never late for work, and had a positive spirit. Team members that have 3 consecutive months with no unscheduled absences or time off, and who clock in timely, and who have the J.I.W spirit (live the mission), are eligible for a bonus equivalent to 8 hours of pay!
RIDGELINE ROCK STARS
One person from each of the Ridgeline Management Company communities is nominated based on their work ethic, commitment to residents and one another, as well as their expression of the J.I.W. spirit (living the mission of Joy, Independence, and Wellness). The president & CEO of Ridgeline, John Safrans, sends a personal letter of recognition to each Rockstar. They also receive a certificate and special Ridgeline Rockstar t-shirt. One person in the company is selected each quarter as the Ridgeline Rockstar, and Mr. Safrans presents the award in person, along with gifts and personal appreciation.
Ridgetips provides each team member the opportunity to make a suggestion for employee retention or recognition, cost savings, resident satisfaction, or community promotion. Suggestions may be implemented as best practice throughout all Ridgeline properties. Team members who have a suggestion that is ultimately used at all properties are specially recognized and awarded.
Our Welcome Home new team member experience allows each person the opportunity to learn about our Mission, Vision, and Values, and to discover for themselves the reasons they are inspired to work in a resident-directed environment where residents rule, and team members rock!
